The United States is all set to lift travel restrictions for fully vaccinated foreign national from November 8, said United States on Monday.
However, the White House asserted that the passengers will have to produce proof of their COVID-19 vaccine before boarding the flight to the country. The US has also come with the new updated guidelines regarding new protocols around testing for COVID-19.
As per the new guidelines, unvaccinated travelers — be it a US citizens, lawful permanent residents (LPRs) or the foreign national will now need to get tested within one day of departure.
The new system includes the need for testing, strengthening the system of tracing people who have come in contact, as well as applying masks. ”As per this new system Foreign nationals need to fully vaccinated before boarding the flight to the country,” a senior official said while speaking to media. He further said that in a bid to ensure the safety of American’s people and international air travel, the country has strict safety regulations.
