Sunday lockdown to continue in Kerala

The Kerala Government has decided to continue Sunday lockdown to contain the spread of COVID-19 in the state. District- specific restrictions based on the scale of pandemic spread will also continue.
 
Meanwhile, Kerala yesterday reported 42 thousand 154 Covid-19 positive cases and 38 thousand 458 recoveries. Test Positivity Rate slightly dipped to 42.40 percent. 
 
Ernakulam district continues to report the highest daily caseload. Besides 10 COVID fatalities, health authorities also registered 638 deaths that are certified as Covid-19 deaths based on Supreme Court directions.
