Maharashtra govt to provide financial aid to farmers who lost crops during floods

Maharashtra Government has decided to provide financial assistance of over two thousand 800 crore rupees to farmers who have lost their crops during floods in the month of August and September 2021. More than 46 lakh 56 thousand farmers in Marathwada, Vidarbha, North Maharashtra region and Palghar district will be benefited from this decision.

The State Government issued an order in this regard yesterday. In order to help farmers, the state has provided additional help to the farmers from its exchequer than approved norms of the State Disaster Response Force.
