BCCI Inaugurates National Cricket Academy In Bengaluru.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) inaugurated the new National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru, today. The world-class facility will now be called the BCCI Centre of Excellence (CoE). Spanning over 40 acres of land in Bengaluru, the BCCI Centre of Excellence features a total of three world-class grounds and 86 pitches, including both indoor and outdoor areas. It also has 45 outdoor net pitches for practice, all separated by safety nets sourced from the UK.

The indoor practice facility features eight pitches with premium turfs from the UK and Australia. With a Sports Science and Medicine facility, it will be open to leading Indian Olympians, contributing to the overall growth of the Indian sports ecosystem.

The academy features many State of the Art amenities, including a jacuzzi, lounge, massage room, kit room, and restrooms. commentator and referee rooms, physiotherapy rehab gym, sports science and medicine lab with the latest technology.

This centre supports athletes in all disciplines and is not just for cricket. Its goal is to advance sports science. Leading Indian Olympians will have access to the cutting-edge Sports Science & Medicine facility, which will expand the Indian sports ecosystem as a whole.
