Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s mother, Rupi Soren, has passed away at the age of 80.
President Droupadi Murmu expressed grief over the demise of Rupi Soren. In a social media post, the President said that the work done by Rupi Soren for the empowerment and welfare of tribal communities will always be remembered.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also expressed grief over the demise of Rupi Soren. In a social media post, Mr. Modi said that Rupi Soren always worked for the empowerment of tribal communities.
He also conveyed his thoughts to Mr Soren and his family.
