Delhi police has refuted the claims circulating on social media and news reports regarding the registration of FIR against protestors at Jantar Mantar.
In a statement, the police clarified that no FIR has been registered against the protestors. The police have urged citizens not to believe or share unverified information.
Urging people not to spread misinformation, the post added: “Citizens are advised not to believe or circulate unverified information. Please rely only on official updates issued by Delhi Police.”
The clarification came amid widespread discussion online following the protest organised by the youth-led movement.
