India’s COVID-19 recovery rate reaches close to 92 percent

The National COVID-19 recovery rate has touched the 92 percent mark while the cumulative positive rate increased to 7.4 percent, the Health Ministry said. The weekly positivity rate is 4.4 per cent while daily positivity rate is 3.7 per cent.

Briefing the media last evening, Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said, cases per million population are at 5991.

Active cases are around 5.41 lakh now.

The Health Secretary said, a declining trend has been observed for weekly new cases over the last 7 weeks, which registered a major fall.

There are a few states where active cases are on the rise in November as compared to October.

Manipur now has 3500 cases from the previous 2000.

Cases in Delhi have increased to 33 thousand from 26 thousand.

In Kerala, cases have increased to 86 thousand from 77 thousand.
