The 57th Annual Convention of the Indian Water Works Association started today in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. More than 400 water experts and engineers from across the country are participating in this convention.
The convention was inaugurated by Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai. Addressing the program, the Chief Minister said that water conservation is the responsibility of every person.
He said water management is the need of the hour and emphasized the special attention required for the management and conservation of water, as well as the promotion of water sources for the betterment of future generations.
This three-day annual convention will continue until January 12. The theme of this convention is “Water-360 Degrees.”
