This is not the first time the White House is going to have dogs, nevertheless, it is happening after 4 long years after Donald Trump’s pet-free tenure.
The Biden family owns two German shepherds: Champ and Major. Champ was bought in 2008 while Major was adopted from an animal shelter in 2018. The dogs are Biden’s favourite as they frequently appear in his social media pages.
Major and Champ have also featured during Biden’s election campaign this year.
