Bangladesh saw the second-lowest number of deaths from Covid-19 in nine weeks on Sunday, as 22 more people succumbed to the novel coronavirus.
The overall death toll from Covid-19 in the country now stands at 3,154.
A total of 22 people died from Covid-19 on June 1 as well, and the lowest number of deaths in a single day since then is 21 on Saturday.
The information was disclosed by health authorities in the daily online bulletin on the Covid-19 pandemic on Sunday.
The first death from Covid-19 in the country was recorded on March 18, and the highest number of deaths from the disease in a single day is 64 on June 30.
