PM Narendra Modi gets second dose of COVID-19 vaccine; says ‘if eligible, get your shot soon’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today took the second dose of COVID-19 at AIIMS in New Delhi. After taking the shot, Prime Minister said vaccination is among the few ways available to defeat the virus. Mr Modi urged all the people, who are eligible to take the vaccine to get the shot soon. He also appealed to Register on CoWin.gov.in.

Ms Nisha Sharma, hailing from Sangrur in Punjab, administered the second dose of vaccination to Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Vaccination Centre, AIIMS in New Delhi today. Expressing her feelings, Ms Sharma said that it was a memorable moment for her.

Tweeting a photo of his vaccination, the Prime Minister said a Covid shot was among the few ways to defeat the virus. PM Modi was seen wearing a face mask this time as he took the shot unlike the previous time.

“Got my second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at AIIMS today. Vaccination is among the few ways we have, to defeat the virus. If you are eligible for the vaccine, get your shot soon,” PM Modi tweeted and shared a link to the CoWin website, a portal to register for the vaccine.
