Pakistan has recalled its ambassador from Iran and expelled Iranian ambassador to Islamabad a day after Iran launched airstrikes inside Pakistan. The Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said today that Iranian ambassador will not be allowed to come back, who is at the moment visiting Tehran. She said, yesterday’s airspace violation had resulted in the deaths of two children.

The Pakistan also suspended all high-level visits ongoing or planned between the two countries. Earlier, Iranian state media said, missiles targeted two bases of Jaish-al-Adl, a Sunni terrorist group in the border town of Panjgur in Pakistan’s Balochistan province.

Jaish al Adl has previously mounted attacks on Iranian security forces in the border area with Pakistan. The strikes inside Pakistan came a day after similar attacks carried out by Tehran inside other neighbours, Iraq and Syria.
