The Health and Family Welfare Ministry has said that over 26 crore 53 lakh Covid vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far. More than 32 lakh 62 thousand vaccine doses were administered yesterday.
Health Ministry said, over 29 lakh beneficiaries were vaccinated with the first dose and over three lakh 56 thousand received the second dose yesterday.
Over 20 lakh 67 thousand vaccine doses were administered as first dose and more than 67 thousand vaccine doses were given as second dose to the age group 18 to 44 years yesterday. Since the start of Phase-3 of the vaccination drive, more than 4 crore 72 lakh people across 37 States and UTs have received their first dose. Over 9 lakh 68 thousand received their second dose.
