India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has crossed 143 crore mark. Union Health Ministry said, more than 57 lakh Covid vaccine doses were administered yesterday.
Out of the total vaccination, more than 83 crore 97 lakh vaccine doses have been given as first dose, while over 59 crore 10 lakh doses have been administered as second dose.
As part of the Nationwide Vaccination Drive, Centre has been supporting the States and Union Territories by providing them COVID vaccines free of cost.
