The government has said that over 162 crore 26 lakh COVID vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive. Health Ministry said, more than 27 lakh 56 thousand doses were administered in the last 24 hours. The Ministry said a total of three lakh six thousand 64 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours. India’s Active caseload stands at 22 lakh 49 thousand 335 and it is currently at 5.69 percent. The recovery rate is currently at 93.07 percent.
A total of two lakh 43 thousand 495 people recovered in the last 24 hours and total recoveries touched over three crore 68 lakh. The weekly positivity rate currently stands at 17.03 percent while the Daily positivity rate is at 20.75 percent.
The Ministry said, over 71 crore 69 lakh COVID tests have been conducted in the country so far. In the last 24 hours, more than 14 lakh 74 thousand tests were conducted.
