IMD forecasts heavy rainfall over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim till June 30.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim till the 30th of June.

IMD predicted heavy rainfall over parts of Coastal Karnataka, Jharkhand, Konkan, Goa, Maharashtra, Telangana and Odisha till tomorrow.

It added that conditions are favourable for further advance of the southwest monsoon into parts of the North Arabian Sea, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, parts of Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand during the next three to four days. 

The weather agency also forecast heatwave conditions at isolated places over Bihar, East Madhya Pradesh, and East Uttar Pradesh for the next two to three days.
