Repolling at two booths in the (17) Barasat and (20) Mathurapur parliamentary constituencies is proceeding peacefully in West Bengal without any major disruptive incidents. Tight security arrangements are in place with the presence of the CAPF.
As of the latest reports, a 21.37% voter turnout was recorded at booth no. 26 under the Kakdwip assembly constituency of Mathurapur seat, and a 31.26% voter turnout was recorded at booth no. 61 under the Deganga assembly constituency of Barasat constituency.
