Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister, Narayan Rane today inaugurated the Khadi Theme Pavillion at the India International Trade Fair which is underway at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.
The minister visited the pavillion that features 214 stalls showcasing the diverse and traditional craftsmanship from across the country.
Some of the key attractions of the pavillion include spinning wheel-charkha, khadi garments, handicrafts, wooden toys, and ayurvedic cosmetics.
Talking to Akashwani News, Chairman of Khadi and Village Industries Commission, Manoj Kumar said the pavillion has been designed to promote Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat and the Vocal for Local initiative. He said the stalls embody the prosperity of India’s rich heritage, artistry, and craftsmanship.
