Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed sadness at the passing away of former Gujarat Governor Dr. Kamla Beniwal. In a social media post, Mr Modi said, She had a long political career in Rajasthan, where she served the people with diligence.
The Prime Minister said, he had countless interactions with Ms Beniwal when she was the Governor of Gujarat and he was the Chief Minister. He expressed condolences to the family and friends of Ms Beniwal.
