Over 40 lakh people vaccinated against coronavirus in Madhya Pradesh during mega inoculation drive

Over 40 lakh people were vaccinated against coronavirus during the Madhya Pradesh government’s two-day mega inoculation drive that concluded yesterday.

On the first day of the Maha Abhiyan 2, more than 24 lakh people and on the second day more than 16.76 lakh people were given vaccine doses.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that efforts would be made to give the first dose to 100 percent people by the end of September and second dose to 100 percent people by December 31st in the state. He informed that there is no shortage of vaccines. Over 8, 500 vaccination centres have been set up in 52 districts of the state. People participated with great enthusiasm in the two day vaccination campaign.
