Nagaland registers 25 more COVID-19 cases, 164 patients recover

Nagaland on Sunday has registered 25 new Coronavirus cases, even as the government has reported that 164 patients who had earlier tested positive have recovered.  Out of 609 samples examined, 25 cases found positive, taking the tally of 412.

Of 25 fresh cases found, 20 infected patients are from Dimapur QC, 3 from Kohima QC and 2 from Peren QC. Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom said in a tweet quoting that “25 new cases of COVID-19 +ve have been reported out of 609 samples tested. 20 patients from Dimapur QC, 3 from Kohima QC & 2 from Peren QC.”

The north-eastern state reported that 164 persons have recovered from the respiratory illness, and 248 cases are still active.
