Madhya Pradesh govt. to conduct UG, PG exams through Open Book mode

The Madhya Pradesh government has decided to conduct final year exams of under-graduate and post-graduate courses this year through ‘open book’ mode in September. The examination will be conducted for final year graduation and fourth-semester post-graduation students where they will have to write the papers at their homes following the UGC guidelines.

A state government official told the media on Monday that under the open book mode of examination, students, while sitting at home, can refer to books or notes to write answers to questions.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan took the decision in the hospital while recovering from COVID19. He also shared a tweet announcing the conduct of exams through online mode at home, says media reports quoting the government official.
