Himachal Pradesh imposes further restrictions to contain Covid-19 infection in state

In view of the rising Covid-19 cases across the state the Himachal Pradesh government imposed further restrictions to curb the spread of the infection.

In a fresh order released yesterday, the state government imposed a total ban on langars, community kitchens, and dhaams in the state, along with religious places and places of worship. All religious and social gatherings shall be completely banned in the state.

The order also stated that all government offices will remain closed on weekends, and will work on working days with 50% staff capacity. The order will remain in effect till January 24.
