Cold conditions in Delhi, adjoining areas intensify following rain

The cold conditions in the national capital have intensified following the rainfall.

The city witnessed intermittent light to moderate rainfall since yesterday morning which continued till the wee hours.

Till 5.30 AM 20.4 millimetres of rainfall was recorded in the city.

Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 17.2 degree Celsius which is five degrees below normal while the minimum settled at 6.4 degree Celsius, three degrees below normal.

The MeT Department has forecast a partly cloudy sky and light rain for today and the maximum and minimum temperature would be hovering around 20 and 10 degree Celsius.
