A Central team led by Lav Agarwal, Joint Secretary, Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare will visit Gujarat, Maharashtra and Telangana from today to June 29 to coordinate with state officials to strengthen ongoing efforts for management of COVID-19.
During the four days visit, the team will interact with state government officials over the pandemic. It will be led by Joint Secretary in the Health Ministry.
The Central team will review the measures undertaken by the three states for containment of COVID-19. Maharashtra has reported the highest number of cases in the country.
