At least 14 persons, including 6 children, died in a road accident in Manikpur area of Pratapgarh district in Uttar Pradesh last night.
The accident occurred around midnight near Desraj Inara village on Prayagraj Lucknow highway when a four wheeler returning from a wedding ceremony collided with a truck.
Senior officials have reached the spot and the injured have been admitted to hospital.
