South Africa to resume 1st innings at overnight score of 35/1 in second Test against India

South Africa will resume their first innings at the overnight score of 35 for one in the 2nd Cricket Test against India in Johannesburg today.

Earlier India were bowled out for 202 in their first innings as they struggled against South African pacers. KL Rahul, who is captaining India in place of Virat Kohli, top-scored with 50 runs, while Ravichandran Ashwin made 46 runs. For the hosts, Marco Jansen bagged four wickets while Kagiso Rabada and Duanne Olivier claimed three wickets each. Earlier, India had won the toss and opted to bat. Kohli was ruled out of the match due to an upper back spasm.

India had won the opening Test beating the hosts by 113 runs in Centurion to take a 1-0 lead in the three-Test match series.
