India need 381 runs to save Chennai Test against England on final day today

India will resume their second innings against England at the overnight score of 39 for one on the last day of the first Test at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai today. Chasing a victory target of 420 runs, Team India needed 381 more runs to win the test on the fifth and final day today.

Earlier, England’s second innings was wound up for 178 runs. For India, R. Ashwin scalped six wickets while Shahbaz Nadeem claimed two wickets. Pacer duo Jasprit Bumrah and Ishant Sharma bagged one wicket each.
