Bengaluru Test: Sri Lanka to resume their 1st innings at overnight score of 86/6 against India

Sri Lanka will resume their first innings at the overnight score of 86 for six against India in Bengaluru Test today. Earlier yesterday, India were all out for 252 on the opening day of the second Test. For the hosts, Shreyas Iyer remained top scorer on 92 off 98 deliveries, while Wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant contributed 39. For visitors, Lasith Embuldeniya and Praveen Jayawickrama bagged three wickets each.

Earlier, India won the toss and elected to bat. The day-night test is being played with the pink ball and a full capacity crowd. India will be strong favourites to stay unbeaten in pink-ball Tests at home  and the hosts thrashed Sri Lanka in Mohali to lead the two-match series 1-0.
