Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that the Annapurna Yojana scheme will play a crucial role in accelerating the empowerment of women in Bengal.
He added that when there is no anxiety over emergency expenses, a person’s self-confidence increases, and the Annapurna Bhandar scheme is providing that very confidence.
The West Bengal Government has implemented the Annapurna Yojana scheme through which Rs 3000/ is credited to the bank account of the eligible beneficiaries.
