Governor Lt General KT Parnaik (Retd) unfurled the national flag on the occasion which was followed by the ceremonial March Past by various uniformed contingents, NCC Cadets, Scouts & Guides, and School Children.
In Odisha, Republic Day was celebrated at the Mahatma Gandhi Marg in the state capital Bhubaneswar this morning with the unfurling of the National Flag by Governor Raghubar Das. He unfurled the tricolor in the presence of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and other senior dignitaries and officials. The Governor received the guard of honour from a colourful state-level parade by the Odisha police, ITBP, CRPF, RPF, civil defense, fire personnel, and students of various educational institutions.
In Uttar Pradesh, Republic Day functions were organized at all district headquarters, educational institutions, Madarasas, and Various government offices.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath unfurled the tricolor on the occasion of Republic Day at his residence in Lucknow. Later he also participated in the function of the Republic Day parade in front of the assembly building in Lucknow.

Governor Vishwabhushan Harichandan unfurled the national flag and addressed the State. The Governor received the guard of honour from the contingents.
