Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that his government has made the recruitment process transparent. He said, Government is trying to complete the recruitment procedure within a set timeframe so that everyone gets an equal opportunity to showcase their capabilities.
The Prime Minister was speaking after distributing more than one lakh appointment letters to newly inducted recruits under Rozgar Mela through video conferencing today. Mr Modi said, every youth today knows that he can make a place for himself if he works hard.
He said, since 2014 Government has been trying to connect the youth with it make them the participants in the development process. Mr Modi said, in 10 years, his govt has given 1.5 times more government jobs than the preceding govt did in its 10 years.
He said, the work of giving government jobs to the youth has been going on with great speed. Mr Modi said, it used to take a lot of time from advertisement to actually giving them the job during the rule of previous governments. He said, bribery used to happen seeing the delay in the work.
The Prime Minister said, Indian Railways is today going through a huge transformation. He said, Indian Railways is going to be completely transformed by the end of this decade. Mr Modi said, better connectivity leads to overall advancement in the economy. He said, it helps new businesses and tourism to grow.
Mr Modi said, India now has the third largest startup ecosystem. He said, the country now has nearly 1.25 lakh startups and the startups are generating a lot of employment opportunities for the youth.
The Prime Minister said, in the journey of Viksit Bharat, every government official has an important role to play. He said, the one lakh new recruits who have joined today will provide new energy.
Mr Modi said, it does not matter which department they will join but their efforts will be dedicated to nation-building. He said, for their capacity building, government has also launched the Karmyogi Bharat Portal.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister also laid the foundation stone of Phase I of the Integrated Complex Karmayogi Bhavan at New Delhi. The complex aims to promote collaboration and synergy amongst various pillars of Mission Karmayogi.
Rozgar Mela was held at 47 locations across the country. The recruitments are taking place across Central Government Departments and State Governments and Union Territories supporting this initiative. The new recruits will join he Government in various Ministries and Departments.
