PM Modi inaugurates first Indian Art, Architecture and Design Biennale at Red Fort.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the first Indian Art, Architecture and Design Biennale (IAADB) at Red Fort in New Delhi on Friday. He unveiled seven research publications on the occasion. The Prime Minister also inaugurated Aatmanirbhar Bharat Centre for Design. Speaking on the occasion Mr. Modi said that the rich cultural heritage and diversity of India originated due to the vibrant democracy of our country. He added that Art, architecture and culture prosper only when there is freedom of expression and diversity blooms from the tradition of debates and discussions. He said that ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat Centre for Design’ will provide a platform to bring unique signs to the mainstream. PM Modi said the craftsmen will gain knowledge of design and development, and will also learn digital marketing.
 
Mr Modi said that through cultural programmes like the International Museum Expo, Festival of Libraries, India is trying to institutionalise global cultural initiatives. He said India’s rich culture and heritage is attracting foreign tourists.
 
Prime Minister said a lot of work is being done in every field of art and architecture be it the development of cultural centers like Kedarnath and Kashi. He said in the golden age of independence, India is creating new dimensions of cultural prosperity. 
 
IAADB is being organized in line with the PM’s vision to develop a flagship global cultural initiative in the country. It is designed to initiate a holistic conversation between artists, architects, designers, photographers, collectors, art professionals and the public
