Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone, launched and inaugurated various projects worth over 83,300 crore rupees during his day-long visit to Hazaribagh in Jharkhand today.
The Projects include Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan with a total outlay of over 79,150 crore rupees and multiple projects under Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan (PM-JANMAN). The Prime Minister also inaugurated 40 Eklavya schools and laid the foundation stone of 25 Eklavya Schools.
Addressing people on this occasion at the campus of Vinoba Bhabe University in Hazaribagh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that multiple projects will significantly boost efforts to empower tribal communities and enhance rural infrastructure across the State. Mr Modi said, that without developing and empowering of tribal community of the country, the dream of a developed India can not be fulfilled.
After launching ambitious schemes, the PM said, over 5 crore tribal people will be benefitted. Mr Modi said tribal welfare is on the topmost agenda of the government. The PM said the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan is a pivotal initiative that aims to foster holistic development in tribal villages, bringing transformative changes to the socio-economic landscape of the region.
