The government’s agreement to the air pollution discussion is believed to have tipped the balance in its favour with two scheduled Bills taken up for consideration and passing—the new Atomic Energy Bill.

The latter Bill will be passed shortly, with Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to reply to a long debate that was held in the Lok Sabha, which sat till midnight yesterday.
During the Atomic Energy Bill passage, the Opposition had walked out after participating in the debate.
