Central Board of Direct Taxes has extended due dates for filing of Audit reports and Income Tax Returns for Assessment Year 2021-22. Finance Ministry said in a release that this was done in consideration of difficulties reported by taxpayers and stakeholders due to COVID.
The due date of furnishing of Return of Income for 2021-22, which was extended to 15th February earlier, has now been further extended to 15th March. The due of furnishing of Report of Audit has now been extended to 15th February.
