BJP leader Anurag Thakur today accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of being the kingpin of corruption in the liquor scam. Addressing media in Delhi, Mr Thakur criticised Mr Kejriwal for not resigning from the post of Chief Minister yet.
The BJP leader said that the AAP leader had said that once voted to power, he would run a campaign against drugs in Punjab. Mr Thakur pointed out that over 20 people lost their lives in Sangrur due to consumption of spurious liquor.
Meanwhile, Mr Kejriwal’s wife Sunita Kejriwal today read out her jailed husband’s message to the people. In the message, the AAP leader said he will continue to serve the country, whether he is inside the jail or not.
He claimed that there is no jail that can keep him behind bars for long and alleged that there are several forces within and outside India that are weakening the country.
