India’s COVID-19 recovery rate improves to 94.59 percent

India has crossed a significant milestone in its fight against COVID. The national cumulative recovery rate has also further improved to 94.59 per cent with recovery of nearly 91 lakh 79 thousand people so far. With recovery of over 39 thousand people in the last 24 hours, the number of daily recoveries continue to outnumber the new daily cases for the 11th consecutive day today.

With 26 thousand 567 new daily cases, the number of daily cases has also registered a fall of over 19 per cent from yesterday. The new daily positive cases have remained below the 50 thousand mark for over a month now.

Over 10 lakh 26 thousand COVID samples were tested in the country in the last 24 hours. With this, the cumulative testing figure has reached at around 14 crore 88 lakh.
