The Cannes Film Festival is back to celebrate the world’s best cinema after its cancellation last year. One of the world’s most prestigious film festival, Cannes this year is taking place between the 6th and the 17th of July. Masks will be mandatory in the entire festival area, along with regular COVID testing.
The Palme d’Or is the highest prize awarded at the festival. This year, 24 films are competing for the coveted title. In the last edition of the festival, Bong Joon Ho won the Palme d’or for the movie, Parasite in 2019.
