Launched by IIT Director Prof. Rajeev Ahuja, Director of Research at Stanford University and Adjunct Faculty at IIT Ropar, Dr. Ishan Shivanand, the paper is co-authored with Dr. Anjali Samani, a former AI and data science executive at Salesforce.

Addressing media, Dr Shivanand said that the aim is to develop wiser AI that helps people strengthen their own discernment. The idea is to give human centric approach for the holistic development of students so that students not only receive success but happiness as well.

He said this paper distils what the Shiv Sutras teach about cultivating wisdom in the human mind, and applies it to the artificial mind.
