Goa Assembly Complex to celebrate Silver Jubilee from October 6 to 9th.

Various programmes have been organised from October 6 to 9 to mark the Silver Jubilee of the Goa Assembly Complex at Porvorim.

During the four-day celebrations, legislators will be felicitated. The pictorial history of the Assembly Complex will also be showcased through a photo exhibition.

The Silver Jubilee celebrations will be inaugurated at 4 PM today at the Assembly premises. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Goa Governor Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju will be the chief guests at the inaugural ceremony.

Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, Legislative Affairs Minister Mauvin Godinho, and Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao will also attend the event. A special postage stamp and special cover commemorating the Assembly building will be released on the occasion.

A souvenir and a coffee-table book will also be released. The celebrations will remain open to the public on all four days. Kerala Governor Rajendra Arlekar will be the chief guest for the concluding ceremony.
