The 5th edition of the Jammu Film Festival is set to begin with a curtain-raiser event on September 17, bringing together cinema, culture, community and creativity on a common platform.
Akashvani Jammu Correspondent reports that the curtain-raiser will be held at the Writers Club, Abhinav Theatre, Jammu, at 11 AM on Thursday.
According to the organisers, the festival aims to provide a platform for filmmakers, artists, creative professionals and cinema enthusiasts while promoting the rich cultural landscape of Jammu and Kashmir.
The 5th edition is expected to showcase the region’s connection with cinema and provide opportunities for interaction and engagement among members of the film and creative community.
