All stations on the Delhi Metro network are now open for passenger services.
Earlier, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) had closed 18 Metro stations due to security reasons.
These included Lok Kalyan Marg, Rajiv Chowk, Patel Chowk, Ramakrishna Ashram Marg, Barakhambha Road, Supreme Court, Seva Teerth, Janpath, Mandi House, Central Secretariat, ITO, Delhi Gate, Indraprastha, Khan Market, Jor Bagh, Shivaji Stadium, Jhandewalan, and New Delhi.
The announcement came a day after the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) officially called off its protest at Jantar Mantar following the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
The DMRC had earlier announced on Saturday evening that entry gates at all metro stations had reopened. The temporary restrictions had been imposed as part of security arrangements around Jantar Mantar and adjoining areas during the protest.
