A Nyaya Sanhita Exhibition on India’s new criminal laws, organised by the Puducherry Police, was inaugurated on Beach Road in Puducherry today.
Lieutenant Governor K. Kailashnathan and Chief Minister N. Rangasamy inaugurated the exhibition and toured the various stalls.
The exhibition highlights the provisions and implementation of the new criminal laws, the functioning of the police, and the criminal justice system.
Displays explaining the roles of the police, courts, and other institutions involved in the administration of justice have been put on exhibit.The exhibition also showcases various public welfare initiatives introduced by the Central Government over the past twelve years.
It will remain open to the public until tomorrow, providing an opportunity for visitors to learn more about the new criminal laws and the justice delivery system.
