Andhra CM invites National University of Singapore  to establish campus in capital Amaravati.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has invited the National University of Singapore (NUS) to establish an international branch or satellite campus in Amaravati to develop the capital city into a global education hub.

During a meeting with NUS President Professor Tan Eng Chye in Singapore , Mr. Naidu discussed opportunities for academic collaboration, research partnerships and higher education expansion in Andhra Pradesh. He also sought the university’s support in strengthening the state’s higher education ecosystem.

Professor Tan responded positively and said NUS would explore the possibility of establishing a presence in Amaravati and examine opportunities for deeper collaboration with Andhra Pradesh.

As part of his Singapore visit, the Chief Minister also met members of the CII Andhra Pradesh Business Delegation and called on Telugu entrepreneurs to help attract global investments to the state.

He highlighted Andhra Pradesh’s investor-friendly policies, skilled workforce, infrastructure and opportunities across sectors, including electronics, semiconductors, food processing and logistics.

The Chief Minister also held discussions with Singapore government and industry leaders on expanding cooperation in education, investment, governance and economic development.
