The Manipur Government has decided to extend the holiday for all schools in the state by another two days due to the worsening flood situation. While the Government offices will remain closed till tomorrow.
An order issued by the Department of Education (School) Manipur said that all schools of the State- Government, Government Aided, Aided, Private and Central schools will stay closed tomorrow and the day after tomorrow.
In view of the worsening flood conditions which have caused the submergence of a vast tract of residential lands and educational institutions and keeping in mind the safety of the students and teachers of the State, the Government decided to extend the holiday for another two days.
