US President-elect Joe Biden has set a goal of 100 million Covid vaccinations in his first 100 days in office. Attending a press conference in Delaware Mr Biden said, he can’t promise that his first 100 days would end the Covid-19 but the course of the disease will be changed and life in America will also be changed for the better.
The President-elect introduced his health team during the press conference. Mr Biden gave few details of how the largest vaccination programme in US history would be carried out. He said that getting children back to school would also be a priority for him.
On Wednesday, a report paved the way for a Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine to be approved and rolled out for Americans.
