Indian Merchant Chambers conducts Roadshow in Dubai for upcoming Bharat Calling Conference.

  In Dubai, the IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry conducted an International roadshow on January 23rd, previewing the upcoming Bharat Calling Conference scheduled for February 27th, 2025, at Mumbai’s Jio World Convention Centre.

With an expected attendance of 700-800 delegates from 12 countries, the conference marks IMC’s Silver Jubilee and represents a platform for international economic collaboration. Supported by Invest India and the Ministry of External Affairs, the event aims to showcase India’s evolving economic landscape.

The conference theme, “Path to Viksit Bharat 2047 – Pioneering Prosperity for All,” will focus on eight critical sectors, with artificial intelligence prominently featured. A highlight will be the “Explore Bharat Exhibition,” presenting One District One Products from various Indian states to a global audience.

In his remarks about the conference in Dubai, Sanjay Mariwala, President of the IMC Chamber of Commerce, stated: “The event aims to focus on certain global developments and their implications while determining priorities for investments and key industries.

It will centre on eight sectors identified as critical for India’s future, including artificial intelligence and its role in shaping the trajectory of Indian businesses. The event seeks to foster collaboration between government bodies, policymakers, businesses, investors, and international stakeholders”

Established in 1907 during the Swadeshi movement, IMC has a historic legacy, having Mahatma Gandhi as a patron. The Bharat Calling Conference represents a continuation of its 24-year tradition of hosting international trade platforms across global locations including UAE, Singapore, China, UK, US, Germany, and South Africa.

The conference represents a significant opportunity to highlight India’s economic potential, invite global diaspora talent, and establish strategic international partnerships.
