Bangladesh. 14 injured as Awami League cadres fight back in Gazipur.

In Bangladesh, a violent clash erupted when mobs attempted to vandalize former minister Mozammel Haque’s residence in Gazipur. Fueled by anger, students and locals barged in, wrecking the house.

A nearby mosque’s megaphone blared an urgent call for help, alerting the community.

Local residents, angered by the attack, fought back, beating several vandals. Soon, army personnel arrived, rescuing the injured and transporting them to the hospital.

This marked the first time in three days the mob faced resistance. Meanwhile, Transparency International criticized the government’s inaction, warning of the crisis’s threat to Bangladesh’s stability and democratic transition.
