Assistant High Commission Of India Observes Hindi Diwas At Kandy, Sri Lanka.

The Assistant High Commission of India at Kandy observed Hindi Diwas today. In addition, Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, the cultural arm of the High Commission of India in Colombo observed the Hindi Day in Colombo on Friday.

The event also witnessed completion of Hindi Course of 30 Sri Lanka Police personnel at the Centre.

High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka Santhosh Jha congratulated the third batch of police personnel for their successful completion of the spoken Hindi course at the Cultural Centre.

He has also released the annual Hindi publication of the Centre “Sri Lanka Hindi Samachar” at the event. Similarly, the consulates general at Jaffna and Hambantota also observed Hindi Diwas yesterday.
